Data Management Specialist Training Coordinator CDSI Duties include upkeep of ADPE Custodian Inventory for AFCEE (Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence). Login task requests in Wang Task Request System. Provide inventory support of equipment to include: purchase orders and inputting equipment information into Microsoft Access Inventory database. Verify inventory data utilizing Netscape internet access. Process hand-receipt of equipment for temporary use. Process equipment add sheets and transfer sheets. Approximately 2500 requests for training with over 200 requests filled per month. Utilizing a vax database (VT320) to update and store data on all requests, several reports are run. Some reports initialized are daily scheduled students per class, total scheduled students per class, unscheduled requests, total monthly students and history of all scheduled students. These reports are utilized to implement charts in Microsoft Excel 5.0. Responsible for rescheduling cancellations and processing new requests. Process certifications for all students completing classes daily utilizing Microsoft Word 6.0. Initializing letters of verification of students scheduled and also placing personal calls before the scheduled class date as a reminder. Contacting all office POC's for additional stand-ins with last minute cancellations. Utilize LinkWorks to process requests. Utilize TeamLinks for Mail 2.1 to send and receive e-mail. Utilize Calendar Creator Plus to create monthly class schedules on a quarterly basis. Special Projects: created new certificate to implement for student certifications, created a pamphlet as a marketing tool to provide WHMC personnel with information on training classes, presently working on updating an outdated database of WHMC personnel with approximately 6000 listed names. Edit and resubmit data when necessary. Insert records into the production database, upon approval of TPM (Technical Program Manager). Document each procedure as it occurs.
